Pursuant to Council Decision (CFSP) 2015/959, which was published in the Official Journal on Saturday 20 June, the European Council has formally extended the EU economic sanctions against Crimea and Sevastopol until 23 June 2016.
The Council of the EU announced today that it has agreed to renew the EU sanctions against Russia for a further six months until 31 January 2016. The implementing legislation has yet to be published.
