On 25 February, 2023, Prime Minister Kishida, announced further sanctions against Russia. The new measures will include: Asset Freezes on Russian individuals/entities and suspension of visas to Russian individuals/entities; financial sanctions including asset freezes on financial institutions; and export bans on items that can be used for military purposes, dual-use goods, certain commodities and semiconductors.
