Pursuant to Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 381/2014, published in the Official Journal today, the EU has designated the following four Ukrainian individuals with immediate effect:

Serhiy Arbuzov, former Prime Minister of Ukraine

Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, Party of Regions MP

Oleksandr Klymenko, former Minister of Revenue and Charges

Edward Stavytskyi, former Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine
The individuals, who have not been targeted by the US to date, are stated to have been involved in “crimes in connection with the embezzlement of Ukrainian State funds and their illegal transfer outside Ukraine”. Their designations take immediate effect.
The EU has also amended the identifying information for three existing designated persons: Oleksandr Viktorovych Yanukovych, Serhii Petrovych Kliuiev and Oleksii Mykolayovych Azarov.
