On 6 May 2014, Liechtenstein issued a regulation amending the Special Economic Measures (Russia) Regulations that are designed to prevent the circumvention of international sanctions related to the situation in Ukraine. The Regulations are covered in our blog post dated 22 April 2014 (click here).
This update corresponds to the EU’s decision last week to sanction a further 15 individuals, and incorporates the exact same 15 individuals into Liechtenstein’s anti-circumvention legislation.
