Yesterday, Liechtenstein published a regulation amending the Special Economic Measures (Russia) Regulations that are designed to prevent the circumvention of international sanctions related to the situation in Ukraine. This update follows the EU’s decision of last week to sanction a further 12 individuals and 2 entities. The regulation mirrors this decision and incorporates these same parties into Liechtenstein’s anti-circumvention legislation, bringing the total number of listed individuals by Liechtenstein to 61, and the total number of listed entities to 2.
